Rare gem Tien Thanh like Mui Ne of old

80 tourist companies to attend HCMC Tourism Festival
Over 80 travel companies from 24 provinces and cities will attend the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2011, to introduce and sell their products and services at 150 stalls.
This was revealed yesterday by the city Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism which will officially open the festival from April 7-10 at 23-9 Park in District 1.
20 countries to join Mui Ne Int’l Boat Racing Festival 2011
Twenty countries have registered to take part in the 2011 International Boat Racing Festival, which is scheduled to take place in Mui Ne in the southern province of Binh Thuan from March 17-20.
Various cultural, sporting and tourism events will be held in the framework of the festival themed “Boat, Sea, Sand and Sun”, including a concert performed by Austrian, Australian, Russian and Hong Kong artists, an exhibition on boat technology, a photo exhibition, and an international seminar on boat technology and sea tourism industry.
Kiri Thedo wins freestyle at PWA
Professional windsurfer Kiri Thedo from the Netherlands won the freestyle championship on Monday at the PWA World Cup Mui Ne-Vietnam 2011 after four days of competition. Gillito Estredo from Venezuela came second and Elton Taty Frans from the Netherlands won third prize out of 27 entrants in the Professional Windsurfing Association event that is being held for the first time in Vietnam.
Diverse activities of the National Tourism Year
The launching of the National Tourism Year in the South Central Coastal province of Phu Yen and a special art performance to celebrate the province’s 400th anniversary will be held on April 1.
The information was released at a press briefing in Hanoi on January 25.
Russia newspaper hails Mui Ne beach
A Russia newspaper, Труд (Labour) on January 13 ran published beautiful pictures, taken by its journalist Anna Stepkina, of the Mui Ne beach in the southern province of Binh Thuan.
The article says that Mui Ne is one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam, where tourists can relax and join many leisure and sports activities, including kite surfing with a very competitive price of US$400-500 for a 4-5 day tour.
