Cao Dai (a.k.a. Dao Cao Dai or Caodaism) is a perfect combination of world religions such as Christianity, Buddhism , Islam, Confucianism, Hinduism, Geniism, and Taoism. Đạo Cao Đài is the religion's shortened name, the full name is Đại Đạo Tam Kỳ Phổ Độ (Great Religion of The Third Period of Revelation and Salvation).It officially established in the city of Tay Ninh, southern Vietnam, in 1926.

Hoang Thi Diep, deputy head of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, revealed that Vietnam received more than 6 million international visitors during 2011.
The National Tourism Year 2012 program themed “Heritage Tourism” featuring a series of activities to be celebrated throughout the North Central coastal regions during the course of next year is expected to raise this figure even higher by 2012.

Vietnam, Monaco strengthen cooperation
Vietnam and the Principality of Monaco should boost cooperation in agriculture, infrastructure, finance and banking, on the back of their growing economic ties, Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan said.
She made the remarks during her reception for the Chairman of the MimRan Group of Monaco, Nachson MimRan, in Hanoi on April 9, citing the two-way trade value of US$1 billion between Vietnam and Monaco.
Vietnam says foreign human rights reports partial
Vietnam’ Foreign Ministry spokesperson on April 9 rejected comments on human rights in the country made by the US Department of State, UK Department of Foreign Affairs and the EU Delegation to Vietnam, underlining “they are partial and based on erroneous information”.
Spokeswoman Nguyen Phuong Nga made the protest in her reply to correspondents ’ queries regarding the comments on Vietnam contained in the 2010 Human Rights Reports of the US Department of State and the UK Department of Foreign Affairs, and a recent statement of the Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Vietnam.
12th National Assembly’s final session closes
The ninth and final session of the 12th National Assembly wrapped up in Hanoi on March 29, voting for several laws, except for the Law on the Capital City.
The bills passed at this session included the Law on Human Trafficking Prevention, the Law on Independent Auditing and amendments to the Civil Litigation Code.
