he Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has printed two million voting guides as part of efforts to promote Ha Long Bay's selection as one of the new seven natural wonders of the world this year.

The guides, which are in many languages including Vietnamese, English, French, Russian and Chinese, will be given to locals and foreigners through travel companies, embassies, foreign agencies in Vietnam, as well as several airlines, according to the administration.

Hoang Thi Diep, deputy head of the administration, told a meeting in Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday that New Open World, which launched the vote for Seven Natural Wonders list in 2007, would announce the new list on November 11.

Voting for the sites would end on October 31, she said.

Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning limestone cliffs in a large body of backwaters, about 180 kilometers east of the capital Hanoi. It attracted more than two million visitors last year.

To vote for the bay located in the northern province of Quang Ninh, please visit the website www.new7wonders.com.
