The pagoda will be also set more record for the owner of the most Arhat Statues in ASEAN with 500 Arhat statues made of stone and stand higher than human’s head.

Bai Dinh covers a total area of 539 hectare with both ancient and the newly renovated Bai Dinh pagoda , parks , parking car and lake system.The old Bai Dinh pagoda is located on the western slope of Dinh mountain and nestles in quiet forest. The pagoda houses an ancestor worshipping house in the centre, Bright cave on the right hand side which worships a Buddha, the small temple worshipping Genie Cao Son. In addition, on the left hand side of pagoda is another temple worshipping Saint Nguyen and next to it is Dark cave which worships the Fariry. With fanciful scenery and quiet atmosphere, the pagoda will make visitors feel likely to live in fairy land and they find peace in their minds.

The main part of the new complex is flanked on both sides by covered stairs and walkway which take you from the entrance, past the bell tower and on to the three main halls in the complex. The walkway is open to the inside, while the opposite wall is lined with seemingly endless rows of niches, each with its own bronze Buddha, as found inside the main structures.

Bai Dinh pagoda is also famous for its record-breaking works,the three statues of Buddha in the past, present and future weighing 50 tons per statue in Tam The temple, a Buddha statue weighing 100 tons in Phap Chu temple and two bells weighing 36 tons and 27 tons.

All in all, Bai Dinh Pagoda is an amazing complex which will be even more impressive when it is completed. Just up the road from the Trang An tourism site, and near Hoa Lu, Phat Diem and other destinations in the Ninh Binh area, Bai Dinh can only grow from here.
